"BowDivas Episode 012 - Karen Butler from Shoots Like A Girl"
The Bow Divas had the honor of interviewing Karen Butler, founder and president of Shoot Like a Girl SLG2,. According to the Shoot Like a Girl website, SLG2 ",has a simple mission, to grow the number of women who participate in shooting sports by empowering them with confidence." Shoot Like a Girl travels the country with its state of the art shooting trailer in which females may participate in "Test Flights." These test flights provide opportunities for women and girls to shoot a variety of bows and firearms simulators in a safe and controlled environment. In Part 1 of a two-part episode, Karen shares why she started Shoot Like a Girl and talks about archery and other shooting sports. She touches on the hot topic of politics and gun control and goes more in depth with that topic in Part 2, to be aired next week.
